- In recent years, Weston Associates, Inc. has acquired several significant properties in the Greater Boston area, including Shore Plaza East and South Cove Plaza. Shore Plaza East, a 380 unit rental housing project located on the East Boston waterfront, was acquired for $36 Million. The latest purchase, South Cove Plaza, is a 231-unit rental housing development located in the heart of Boston. The total project cost for South Cove Plaza was $48 Million.
- In June of 2005 the Massachusetts Department of Capital and Asset Management selected Weston Associates to redevelop 20 Somerset Street. Formerly the headquarters of the Metropolitan District Commission, the project site is located on Beacon Hill near the State House. In partnership with Suffolk University, Weston Associates will develop a 31 story residence hall that includes a revitalized outdoor plaza, retail space, a gymnasium and housing for approximately 800 students.
- In August of 2005 Weston Associates secured approvals for the development of Basilica Court. Located behind Boston's Mission Church near the Longwood Medical Center, Basilica Court will include 229 units of housing. The market rate project calls for the construction of two residential towers and the renovation of an historic Catholic school building.
